Okay, on the last day of 2008, 12 of us met up for work for the Marina Bay Countdown 2009!!
Me, Ivan, Qing Chang, Jia Hao, Yong Yuan, Shi Jie, Yi Ming, Joanne, Jun Ting, Zi Kai, Xiuting(er jie) and last but not least Yuting(san jie)!
Seriously, this is a very fun clique to be with, consisting mostly of my close friends and people like Yong Yuan that I always go home with.
To Jia Hao(if he ever did bother to visit this dead blog and read this post): You are of the close friends so don't think too much that I didn't list your name down. This guy here always making himself sound so pathetic=P
So I reached the MRT control station at 1.45 pm, since Jia Hao told me he would be meeting me there. Called him when I didn't see anyone there and he told me he just got out from his house. As expected.. Since my mouth was itchy, which was like always, I went to cheers to get some sweets and saw Shi Jie waiting at the red circle.
And Jun Ting and Yong Yuan soon came along. We were told to meet at different locations. Good thing I came up or I will be waiting for Jia Hao alone.
He came at around 2.10 if I didn't remember wrongly and he told us that we are still waiting for his god-sister, Joanne. So we waited for at least 10 more minutes before she reached.
Took the train to Marina Bay Mrt. Didn't know where it was so I just followed them. Met Qing Chang, Ivan, Zi Kai, Yi Ming and er san jie there. Then unknowingly, we soon ended up at the wrong place-Marina barrage. Quite sian cos it was super hot in the afternoon and we were all wearing black. And we still have to walk a distance, take a bus, then walk again.
But seriously, I didn't know what was happening for the whole journey and that what was going to happen the next moment at all so I was just following blindly. Talked to Ivan on the way and he keep pestering me with his questions... Haha.
So when we board the bus to get back to the Mrt station, I actually went and tap my card when the ride was free-.- Everyone was looking at me since the machine was making such a din while rejecting my card. Super embarrassing can? It's like its so natural that when you board a public transport, you will try to tap right? Habits just grow on you what.
So we made our way to City Hall station and finally reached our destination after walking some distance. There was nothing for us to do at all until around 6pm, so were basically stoning around and crapping with each other. Since we were selling food, we needed to put on this apron and some paper hat as part of our walking attire. The apron was okay but seriously, the paper hat was far too... Haha. Okay, it looks weird on us=P
Luckily, in the end, we didn't wear that weird hat although we were supposed to cos nobody bothers at all=P
Still a big crowd, but not as many as we had expected it to be though. So we went around selling food items of limited variety, like Coke, Orange /Calamansi Juice, assorted snacks, Nachos with cheese, Chocolate/Sausage buns and party packs. Everyone was like demanding for drinks and that not much on snacks, and party packs which I thought will be quite easy to sell. Guess I'm wrong=P
So we went our seperate ways selling our food, but kept meeting at the base. Kind of made 2 new friends, a guy and a girl, who were ushers, since I was walking up and down the flight of stairs they were assigned to. Talked a little when I walked past them and they will also help to arrange the things in my basket. Super friendly people. Haha. Crew power!
I rememberd asking some guy, "Would you like to buy anything?" and he told me a straight NO and started complaining about having to pay the 20 or so bucks and still expecting him to buy food from me? Haha. What else can I do other than smiling? Haha.
When it was 11.55, we went to take a seat with the crowd to countdown. Since the crew can move around freely, we took the best empty seats to view the fireworks. Seriously, if you think it looks beautiful on television, wait till you see it live! Then our clique was being super high, started to shout happy new year here and there and everyone shook hands with everyone!
Should post the video on the fireworks should anyone who filmed it send me the file=P
So since the crowd has left, we went back to the base since there were nobody there for us to sell our goods. So huiming(our superior) came over and asked us whether we wanted to watch OT. Ivan, Zi Kai, and Jun Ting left after doing OT for 1 hour so it was down to the 9 of us to clear the mess. Seriously, they should stay cos it was super fun!!!
Our first task - clear some of the food! Clearing the food as in clearing it into your stomach=P It's like we get paid to eat free food? Cool please. Haha.
Then we started clearing the base. It was super dirty and messy and... I just don't know how to describe... Haha. But many hands make light work and that the process of clearing the base was super fun and childish!
We opened some party packs and started playing with the whistle, the mask, the light-sticks, the clapper, and whatever that was inside which I can't remember. To put it simply, we were being super high, crazy and childish or whatever you want to call it=P
Took this photo with er jie, Jia Hao, Shi Jie, Yong Yuan and don't know who else which we posted with clappers! Haha. we were like clapping here and then in each other's ears and being super lame! Haha.
Accidentally touched some cheese when clearing up and then very happy to realize that san jie got her whole hand full of cheese=P Being childish, we hi-five each other and she splattered the cheese all over my shirt-.- Well, who ask me want to play with her? Haha.
Qing Chang was also being high and started talking crap and doing stupid stuff. And he just keep on rambling about his nian2 gao1 joke. Haha.
Then my phone suddenly rang and I was quite surprised to see Jie Xin calling me. She called to wish Happy New Year. So thoughtful=D Since you only picked some people, I should feel honoured then=D (Don't get too happy when you see this=P)
When we were clearing up, we were like coping food and drinks here and there. Drank quite a bit of Carlsberg. Been some time since I drank but I realised I can still hold my liquor well.
As a side note, I only drink on certain occassions that I'm very happy, and not that I always drink for fun.
Took a group photo too, but should post it on another day=P
Went for breakfast after work ended at 4.30am at Marina Square Mac and went home with Jia Hao, Shi Jie and Yong Yuan after that while Qing Chang went home with er and san jie and Yi Ming went home alone. During breakfast, there was this weird old Indian lady talking to us and I don't think she's in the right state of mind. Qing Chang was being super funny by talking crap to her and like not answering her questions at all. We were all laughing like mad and I remembered everyone looking at us. Yi Ming was even feeling pai seh that he asked me to shield his face. Haha.
So thats about it. Seriously, this is the best new year I spent in my whole entire life. Everyone was fun and funny, and I think we can really clique together very well. This seriously is a clique that is super fun and I really hope that we can see one another soon! =D
Happy New Year, Happy 2009 everyone!
(Okay, this is rather late...)

Well, nevermind. Here we go again.

Let's talk about Christmas Countdown 2008!
There was me, Hee Ai, Hee Zhi, Yi Chin, Shermaine and Kim Wee. Yup, just the 6 of us. We asked many others along too, but people like Marie had church activities and that some of their parents didn't allow.
So, we met at the red circle at 6. Let's rephrase - We were supposed to meet at the red circle at 6.
Yes, supposed is the key idea here. =P
I reached at 5.55pm, and I had expected not seeing anyone until another 15 to 20 minutes. It was like I called Hee Ai at 5.40pm and she's still at home asking me what am I wearing? Haha.
So since Hee Ai and Shermaine will come by bus, I was camping at the entrance of the bus interchange waiting for them. Then to my surprise, I saw Hee Ai first! Haha. I was like thinking how can she be the earliest of them? Then when we were talking to the red circle, she told me Shermaine was already there. Then I saw poor Shermaine standing there alone waiting for us. Stupid me, why didn't I see her?
So Yi Chin and Hee Zhi came along and we went to Pastamania for dinner.
They went to Pastamania for dinner.
As always, I skipped my meal. Haha. They were chatting over dinner but seriously, I didn't know what were they talking about! I was indulging in Jay's songs again... Haha. Guess I am kind of emo... This always happen when I listen to Jay's emo songs... Haha.
So we went to cineleisure, thinking of catching a movie. As expected, there were no more available seats, so there was nothing for us to do!!! So, we did what they loved most, which was finding somewhere that we can sit down and chat. When we were finding a place, I was talking to Hee Ai so much that she couldn't talk to Shermaine. So Shermaine was like quite quiet. I should thank Yi Chin for trying to talk to her or else I will be like the bad guy(AGAIN!!). And sorry to Hee Ai and Shermaine too. =(
And how small can Singapore get? I actually saw Almeric! I swear it's super coincidental please. Haha. So I left my table and joined him and we actually talked non-stop for an hour! Considering that I was never in the same class with him before and that we only knew each other by names, it was surprising that we could talk as if we were old friends. Haha. I call this Catholic High power! Yeah!
We took 145 back to Toa Payoh interchange. That was after we camwhored. Seriously, with Hee Ai around, I can't possibly avoid the camera no matter how hard I try. It will make me look like a wet blanket. Haha. For the later part of the journey, we were the only ones in the bus. Of course there was the bus captain -.- Since Hee Ai and Shermaine needed to board a bus to reach home, they called home to ask their parents to fetch them because we thought that all the bus services had already ended. But I realized that we were wrong. Haha=P
Since it was already around 1 in the morning, Hee Zhi, Yi Chin and I decided to play gentlemen and walked them to where they were supposed to wait for their parents. So Hee Zhi and Yi Chin walked Shermaine to the Cheers bus-stop while I walked Hee Ai to the Courts bus-stop which was in a totally different direction from them.
Talked a lot to Hee Ai along the way and she asked some random questions-.- As usual. Haha. Her dad was nice, asking whether I needed to hitch a ride home. Haha. I was telling her how talkative a person I am, but I only make the effort to talk only when there are 2 people. Don't ask me why, but I don't even try to be vocal in a big group. Put me beside 1 person, and the person knows how talkative I am=P
I realized that I am always the one leading the conversation when in a "2-people-conversation" So I asked Hee Ai whether she did realize that and that she said I AM leading the conversation with her right on the spot-.-
So I walked back to Cheers and joined Hee Zhi and Yi Chin. Hee Zhi parted first and I walked home with Yi Chin, since we live so near each other, only seperated by Serene's flat =P Talked quite a bit to him too about the "2-people-conversation" too. It seems like he realized it too. So he was asking me to fill him in why was that so, but it looks like he has forgotten. Haha..
Anyway, I really enjoyed myself. =D

Went orchard with Hee Ai, Yi Chin and Shermaine last Sunday for some CIP thingy.
Basically its just go around asking people to write their wishes for next year on a ball. =D
So as expected, only Hee Ai and I were asking people to pen on the ball. Stupid Hee Ai, told her I am super enthusiastic when it comes to approaching people but it seems that she didn't buy my story initially. Oh well, now you know =D
Actually, Yi Chin approached many people too, just that his attempts weren't that successful =P. Don't think Shermaine approached anyone at all. She should try to open up more to strangers =D. Hee Ai = thicked skinned so she definitely didn't have any problem approaching people =P.
So after the CIP thing, we went to play pool! And omg, my skills.... Haha, guess I'm out of practice. Hee Ai and Yi Chin were being super retarded during our pool games. They were like waving to the people outside, thinking that it's tinted glass and that nobody can see them. Well, but we found out later that IT'S NOT tinted so I guess they must have looked really retarded to the people outside =P. Good thing that I didn't join them because I had the intention to.. Haha. And Hee Ai that retard (joking!!) is like saying HELLO!! so loudly to the people outside while waving, totally forgetting that there were MANY other people inside the room... Haha.
So after the pool game we went to this SO-CALLED secretive place the girls had found.. If it really was that secretive, why were there so many people walking past us? =P
And omg, I can't believe I cam-whored with them! And I know that they are so surprised please. I bet they must be thinking something like "OMG, JASON ACTUALLY CAM-WHORED WITH US? HELLO, IT'S JASON LEH?" or something along that line. And I'm positive that I'm right. Haha.
Hee Ai and Shermaine just get so excited when it comes to taking photos. Haha.
Supposedly, we were supposed to go for dinner together but I couldn't make it. So everyone went our seperate ways because the group dinner was called off. Omg, I feel so guilty. I'm like the bad guy(AGAIN) because dinner was like called off because I need to go.. Sorry guys.
And I don't know why people think that I'm a super emo guy, one that cannot talk much. It's like Hee Ai was doubting me when I told her I CAN approach people. It's just weird. Well, now they should know that they are wrong! Haha.
O well, that's about it for my Sunday!

I once hated Cat High and wished that I wasn't in this school. But 4 years in this place had changed this. I LOVE THIS PLACE now and that this statement will always hold true.
When I got back my PSLE result 4 to 5 years back, I simply wanted to get into any school which is near my house. But my mum asked me to go into Cat High.
For the first few months, I wished that she had never made the request because I seriously hated the place. Nothing was going right for me - I didn't like my new friends as much as my primary school classmates and that I thought that secondary school life was difficult to adapt to.
And not like my secondary 1 and 2 class was the best class one could have. In fact, I think my secondary 1 and 2 class is one of the worst in the level at that point of time. With people like Jia Jin and Dennis quarreling over stupid and childish things everyday, school was a nightmare for me. But, this doesn't mean I dislike them.
We got scolded almost every other day by Miss Chow, and that I knew it was difficult for her. Things were getting out of hand and that even Mr Julian Teo was keeping a lookout for our class.
That was how horrible our class was. And that to make things worse, those idiots were incorrigible.
Then, I was promoted to Secondary 3-3 and then 4-3, and it was these crucial 2 years that changed my view about Cat High. 3-3 consisted of mostly 2-5 and 2-4 people, with other people from other Secondary 2 classes making up the minority. I dare say that those 2-5 people including myself was lucky to get into 3-3, from a notorious class to becoming one of the best classes with teachers.
In my Secondary 3 and 4 years, I met a lot of fantastic teachers, like Miss Wong, Mr Danny Tan, Mr Tan Jit Hui and Mr Heng etc. All of them had been very helpful and are very passionate in their teaching career, willing to go the extra mile to help their students.
I love all of my secondary 4 teachers, and also Miss Chow and Mr Julian Teo. I now have a sense of belonging in Catholic High. Miss Wong says its good to have this sense of belonging, but it is excatly this sense of belonging that makes me unwilling to leave Cat High.
The most important reason why I am unwilling to leave Cat High is because I know I will miss the teachers. Friends, needless to say, is also another reason why I am unwilling to move on the JC, but at least I can still meet up with them every now and then, so the focus isn't here. Moreover, I know I won't share this kind of bond with my JC lecturers.
Now I know this is how sad it is to move on if you are that close to teachers.
My favourite teacher is Miss Wong, and I think it is rather obvious unless you are blind =P.
I want to thank Miss Wong sincerely. She is the best teacher I had up till now, and I am positively sure that she will always be my favourite teacher.
Every time I am in trouble, you are always there to help me. You are always there to motivate and encourage me, correcting me on my weaknesses and helping me to realize my strengths. Whenever I am in a sticky situation, I will seek your help and you never fail to give me your advice. When I complain, you also simply listen to me and tell me life is like that. When I am emo, you always enlighten me. Thanks to you, I had not cave for around 1/2 a year now. Thanks to your motivating messages, I feel that I am a changed and better person.
You are someone I deeply love and respect. I see you more in the light of a friend and a motherly figure now=D
I still remember there was once I helped you to peel your orange during training time and then you talked to Mr Daniel Yong about me. At night, you dropped me another movtivating message saying that Mr Yong had commented that I am a good squad leader, and that you encouraged me to keep up the good work. Maybe it may mean nothing to you, but it really motivated me to work hard and take care of my squad, even though the Secondary 1 Drill Instructor wasn't my ideal post.
Then there was the Friday night after training which I suddenly cave. My squadmates didn't know what to do with me. I simply refuse to answer them or bulge even after they try to get me talking after hours of persuassion. Out of ideas, Leonard called you to seek your help because he knows that you are the one I respect most. But I didn't answer your call. This was something I regretted up till now. Sorry.
It still wonders me sometimes that 3 to 4 years ago, when I see you in Catholic High, I didn't even know your name and who you are. But now, you are the very person I always confide in when I have any problems.
What I love most about Cat High is because of its teachers. Cat High has a team of compassionate teachers who are ever-ready to help their students. I love all of you teachers! =D Now I know what they mean by your school is your 2nd home.
Catholic High is my 2nd home.

Saturday, October 11, 2008
Hello everyone! I know i haven't been posting for ages and my blog is becoming so rotten, or rather, had already been rotten, but i know i will live to regret it if i don't post about today.
10th October 2008. It is this day, that i graduate from my secondary school - Catholic High School. This is the day that marks the end of my journey as a secondary school student, marking the end of this delightful and memorable phase of my life journey.
The Farewell Assembly was held in the school hall, whereby the whole Secondary 4 cohort of year 2008 gathered, to give thanks to our teachers, and to whoever who had helped and guided us along during these 4 years.
First program on the itinerary was the video presentation by all of the form teachers to their graduating classes. Glad to say, 2-5'2006 is still being remembered by Miss Chow, who was our former form teacher. Mr Teo and Mr Danny Tan, also mentioned about our class briefly in their respective videos. No matter how short the messages are, it is nevertheless impactful and motivational - at least to me.
Many deemed the 4-3 video as boring, or not as exciting as compared to the other videos. However, i beg to differ. Being the frank and direct person Miss Wong is, her video only aims to bring out her deepest thoughts and feelings, and it did. I really appreciate her effort, and I had once again gained strength and motivation from the short messages in her video. Thank You, Miss Wong=)
Another significant part of the Farewell Assembly was the singing of the Catholic High School Song. When I started singing the school song, I began to realize that this was the very last time I would be singing it, and I was once again filled with mixed emotions. I began to think and recall, realizing that some 1400 days ago, I was also right here in the Catholic School Hall, humming the Catholic High School Song, which seemed so unfamiliar and new to me then. Some 1400 days later, I was here again, singing the song so emotionally for the first time in my life, with a different significance this time. Everyone sang the song loudly and wholeheartedly, this time not out of mischief, but most probably it was because they felt the same way that I did.
I teared, but I think that nobody realized it, considering the fact that i concealed it so well, as much as it is difficult to. "I don't want to leave Catholic High" This was the line that kept ringing at the back of my head. To be more accurate, I simply couldn't bear to leave this place, this place which I had already acknowledged to be my home, and had already been an integral part of me.
I remembered that when I just stepped into Catholic High, I simply hated the school life and its system. However, as time flies by, I began to love this place more and more. It had never really daunted on me what will become of me and how I would react when the day of graduation finally come knocking by. Over the years, I had been showered with care and concern from various teachers, notably Miss Wong. Thank You Miss Wong. Thank You teachers=D
On a lighter note, I took individual shots with Miss Wong, Mr Heng and Mrs Chew. The shot with Mr Teo was taken with Jun Liang(if I am not wrong), and the shot with Madam Mu Jun was a group photo=D
Then in the canteen, I took photos with all the Tans. Mr Danny Tan is so goofy, with all his funny poses and animated body language. Mr Tan JH was being lame as usual, to the extent of a little childish=P But of course we all know that he was just trying to be funny=D I even took a photo with Miss Tan. To be frank, I was so surprised that she asked me over for photo-taking as it never did cross my mind before that she actually don't dislike me.
I gave a wide smile in all my photos. I wasn't forcing it out - it just came so naturally. Though I was reluctant to leave Cat High, I felt very happy today. The smiles were so genuine - they came from the bottom of my heart. At that point of time, I had the urge to give all my teachers a hug each to express my gratitude.
But I think that I looked weird and horrible in all the shots. I am just not photogenic. I was never photogenic.
Then it was dinner time before i know it. We had a buffet dinner at some restaurant in Marina Square. There were 23 of us, including Miss Wong. That is to say, more than half the class was present.=D For those who could not make it because of various reasons, we still have the class chalet!=D
And so, I found myself sitting with Miss Wong and Harrison. After everyone had their share of food, we basically went mad. I did, but not for long. When everyone was taking horny photographs and having their own activities thereafter, I was confiding in Miss Wong, again. We were talking and discussing about me and my personality, and I started to bombard her with questions. Sorry to Harrison, QC, Ivan, Guan Yan, Liang and Richie...for asking you all to go away as our talk really was private and confidential because I really do not want people to know of my problems. Sorry to Miss Wong too, as she could have spent her time more productively such as having fun with the rest of them instead of having to listen to my problems. During the whole 30+ minutes when I was talking to her, I couldn't help but realize that many of them was looking at me. Sorry for occupying Miss Wong at the wrong time=(
Thank you Miss Wong once again for driving me home even though it may be quite out of the way=D
3 mysteries during dinner...
1) I don't know why Harrison and the others pushed me to sit beside Miss Wong, but thanks anyway=D
2) I don't know why they tell Miss Wong that she is my best friend.
3) What were the rest thinking when they saw me talking to Miss Wong for so long? Were they saying something bad?
Hope someone can answer my questions=)
-Hope that I will have time to upload the photos
-Hope that all those who have my photos in their cameras can send them to me when they see this message=D
I should post again about the individuals in 4-3 and the teachers when I have the time=D
4-3 2008 ROCKS!
=D

Haha, have been listening to 我很忙 album recently. Chionging.
Conclusion after chionging 我很忙 album:
Jay totally rocks please. Like always, he did not disappoint me with this album. Hope he can get his 八連冠.
So after listening to everything, I think I can comment on the album once again.
Track 01 - 牛仔很忙
The song is damn cool can? People who dont like this genre should just shut their mouths. Jay never fails to give people surprises for each album as he always experiments new genres. This song, without a doubt, is the most experimental track in the album, but nevertheless, nice. This shows that Jay can do it if he wants to.
Track 02 - 彩虹
This is a simple love song, with simple music arrangements, but good music compositions, and powerful but soothing vocal by Jay. The lyrics are also written by Jay himself, so it is quite important to Jay fans like myself.
Track 03 - 青花瓷
The 中國風 of the album. It is like 髮如雪 but lacks the vocal power - it is a simpler song, but nevertheless, nice too. Lyrics are written by Vincent, and as usual, of top quality and meaningful. Sounds like 千里之外 but no 費玉清.
Track 04 - 陽光宅男
I so love this track! Haha. I think the genre for this song is also quite new, as in quite different from the past. Jay is maturing as a composer too, if you compare it to the past compositions. Refreshing break from rap, and ballads. Can really brighten up my day. Makes me feel that summer is coming soon! Haha
Track 05 - 蒲公英的約定
Emotional. 感動度. Thats why i like Jay so much. Quite a short song though, sad.
Track 06 - 無雙
Seems like everyone's favourite song. I like it, but its not my favourite song. I like to take this chance and comment on Xing Yu's post - THIS IS NOT MY FAVOURITE SONG OF THE ALBUM. Okay, thank you. First time I heard this song, it reminds me of 黃金甲, just like what I told Xing Yu. Jay fast songs now quite rock, as in not the 爺爺泡的茶 that type, haha, if you get what I mean. Lyrics are difficult, but not impossible to learn - I cleared this song. Lyrics are meaningful too, if you understand them. Favourite part of the song is the "你去, 你再去" that part, because it continues the rap.
Track 07 - 我不配
This song is so JAY!!! Reminds of all Jay fans of the Jay of the past. This song is so HIM! It is the kind of genre that made him famous, resembling many songs in Fantasy, especially 愛在西元前 . You wont really get and understand me if you are not a Jay fan, but you can try to understand. Haha. The MV is great too, sort of filming part of his life story. Lyrics are beautiful as usual. My favourite song of the track!
Track 08 - 扯
Jay Chou's trademark rap. OnlyJay can write this kind of rap. Nobody can replace him. The girl's effect is great, but others may disagree, but this is just my opinion. I kind of like the music arrangement too. There is like always a song in each album that will have people talking at the beginning of the song. For example, 扯, 紅模仿, 飄移, 將軍, 三年二班, 半島鐵盒, 斗牛 and so on.
Track 09 - 甜甜的
Never really pay much attention to this song, but quite like it. Like 陽光宅男, this song can brighten up my day. It shows the cute side of Jay, and I have to say that for this album, Jay is rather playful. Haha.
Track 10 - 最長的電影
The other favourite track in the album. I fell in love with it after hearing it for 1 time. Is this what they call love at first hear? Sounds weird. Haha. Lyrics written by Jay again, so ya... Haha.
Okay to conclude....
100/100. YEAH! FULL MARKS!!!
Okay, a lot of people are asking me about my favourite song and so on... So I will just post it here:
1st: 我不配, 最長的電影
3rd: 無雙, 扯, 陽光宅男, 牛仔很忙, 蒲公英的約定, 彩虹, 青花瓷
Last: 甜甜的 ( But this does not mean I dont like it. Haha)
Learnt every song, except 甜甜的 and 青花瓷.
青花瓷 is too chim, haha, so it will take some time.
Haha, thats about it! Will post the results for the 48th week soon!

And how can I forget?
HOT STUFF!:
我不配 by 周杰伦 (Seriously, you all should go try listening to this song if you had not done so. It is my favourite song in the album, along with 最長的電影.)
爱你恨你 by 周渝民 (Another nice song. Guess it will be his next song to be in the top 20.)
爱情女神 郭美美 ( NO comments. Haha.)
And then of course, my personal recommendations! Here goes:
最長的電影 by 周杰伦 (strongly recommended)
怕什么 by 蔡依林 (strongly recommended)
我不會唱歌 by 羅志祥
So long!
